There is already a deadline to carry out the risk assessment for domestic workers
In previous news, when the royal decree that established the obligations for the prevention of risks for domestic employees came into force, we already explained the obligations and forecast deadlines, that depended on the development of various State entities
One of the obligations was to carry out the risk assessment. The RD, on September 12, 2024, established that the INSST should develop a tool to prepare such a report, and make it available to employers. Well, yesterday this requirement was met and employers can now access the informatics tool to do it, having 6 months to do so, with the deadline being November 14, 2025. From that date on, the Labour Inspectorate may sanction anyone who has not formally complied with it.
To this end, the employer will be able to access the INSST web platform, the Prevencion10 application, to register and fill in the questionnaires to carry out this evaluation. You will then obtain the preventive measures to be implemented, as well as the document to inform employees of the risks and preventive measures.
To carry out the prevention training established in said RD, as well as health surveillance, we will still have to wait for the developments entrusted to the SEPE and the National Health System.
